

Minji almost died of starvation in North Korea. Now she lives with a loving foster family in South Korea. In the first four months after resettling, she grew four inches.

After escaping North Korea, Brian was caught and thrown in a Chinese prison where he was severely beaten. He avoided repatriation when LiNK paid for his release. Since resettling, Brian started attending university, got married, and now he and his wife have a baby daughter.

Ji Min was prevented from finding work in North Korea due to political reasons. Now safely resettled, he’s working full-time at a job he enjoys.

Sang Hoon escaped North Korea when he realized he would never be able to pursue his goals. Quickly after resettling in South Korea, Sang Hoon earned four computer certificates and got a job at a research institute. He now hopes to attend graduate school in the future.
