Meet the North Korean Student Attending Columbia University  3 min

You’ll hear from Buheung, a resettled North Korean who is pursuing his ambitions in freedom by attending Columbia University, in this video. Buheung and his family escaped in 1999, but were caught in China, repatriated, and each sent to different prisons. Thankfully, he and his mother were able to escape again and resettled in 2005. He is now studying political science, which he hopes to use to become a political analyst and work for the North Korean people. You can empower North Koreans like Buheung to pursue their ambitions by providing education grants.
