Summit in Under 3 Minutes (Video)
We were blown away by what happened at Summit and what it started. Over 200 incredible people, ranging in age from 14 to 77, came from all over the world to work with and learn from the North Korean people and each other.
We were inspired by Yeonmi, Seongmin, Joo Yang, Joseph, and our other North Korean friends who told us their stories of the tenacity and potential of the North Korean people. Nat Kretchun, the nerdiest guy on media and technology trends in North Korea, schooled everyone on what the new information landscape there looks like. Sue Mi Terry, formerly of the CIA, offered insight on why the solution is with the people, not the government. We were delighted to see our North Korean peers teaching and learning from others during breaks and to see people from all walks of life eating meals together and sharing stories.
Summit was just the beginning of an amazing movement that’s developing for the North Korean people.
