The Northeast Nomads can’t contain their excitement for tour launch.
From Romania to Egypt, and St. Louis to Long Island, this fall’s Nomad class brings a global perspective unlike any other and truly embodies the theme of this fall’s tour—People Can. Despite the differences in their backgrounds, they’ve come together united in one passion and one vision. They wholeheartedly believe that the North Korean people will achieve their liberty in our lifetime and they traveled all the way to Los Angeles to use their talents and time to activate others to get involved.

A Nomad speaking at a past event.
On September 24th, this group of incredible individuals hits the road to share the stories of the North Korean people all across North America. They will speak in living rooms, classrooms, and on stages, educating and mobilizing thousands of people to join this movement. They will share the history of North Korea, the current changes being driven by the people, and explain how everyone has a role to play in changing the future of North Korea.

Min Sung is one of four North Koreans who will be featured this tour.
But the Nomads won’t be the only ones speaking. This fall our tour presentation features videos from four of our North Korean friends: Buheung, Geum Ju, Hye Won, and Min Sung. Each one of them has a unique experience to share about their life in North Korea, the journey they had to take to reach safety, and what they are doing now in pursuit of their dreams.

The full fall Nomad class.
We are so excited to launch this tour. Though this is our 16th time on the road, we know this group of Nomads will work to change the narrative in ways we haven’t seen before. Their hard work in office—making thousands of phone calls and working 15 hour days—will pay off when we see an entire new group of people committing themselves to support the North Korean people as they drive incredible change in their country.
To our friends across the United States and Canada, keep your eyes peeled for five big red vans, because we are coming to a city near you!
Make sure we visit your town. Book an event in your school, community, or place of worship!
