The mainstream narrative on North Korea has created a huge barrier between the outside world and the North Korean people because of the focus on Kims and nukes. Through TO: the North Korean People, we are breaking down this barrier in a new way—people-to-people.
North Koreans need to know that we have their backs. That’s why we’re calling on all 340+ Rescue Teams and supporters from around the world to join together to show their support on April 17th for TO: the North Korean People Day! On TTNKP Day, Rescue Teams will be recording messages of support and also going out into their communities to encourage others to do the same.
These messages will show the global community of support that exists for the North Korean people, giving them hope and encouragement to overcome their challenges.
YOU can join us for this day of solidarity! Participate by recording your own message of support, sharing the website with friends and family, or even setting up a table on your campus or in your community to reach even more people.
If you have any questions, we’ll be hosting a Google Hangout on Tuesday, April 14th at 4:00 p.m. PDT to answer them, as well as to go over tips and ideas to make TTNKP Day a success.
