We’re excited to announce the Shirt of the Month, an all-new shirt series available now on the LiNK Shop!
Every month, we’ll release a limited-edition t-shirt focused on supporting a specific aspect of our work. 100% (yes, you heard us right) of your purchase will go directly to the spotlighted program for that month. The purpose of this is two-fold: it enables us to release fresh, program-inspired designs on a regular basis and brings revenue to specific areas of our work when they need it most.
We’re about to launch our 15th tour, so we’ve chosen to focus on this program for our first shirt. Tours are crucial to changing the narrative on North Korea and for mobilizing individuals to get involved. In fact, our two tours last year brought in just over $209,000 in donations and helped us recruit 300 recurring donors, whose accumulated contributions roughly totaled $30,000. This income has gone on to fund refugee rescues, resettlement assistance, and our efforts to change the narrative on North Korea.

Our tours wouldn’t have the incredible impact they do without our Nomads, five teams of traveling representatives who host events all over North America. On average, each Nomad travels over 10,000 miles in the 10 weeks of tour. These individuals often leave their paying jobs to go out on the road to share about the challenges the North Korean people face and the incredible changes they are making in their country. Last year alone, the Nomads educated over 50,000 people on this issue.

The Nomad internship is unpaid, but does include a $500 stipend to help with food expenses while traveling—a worthy investment considering that each Nomad raises, on average, over $13,000 during their time on tour. That’s $13,000 toward our programs.
By purchasing this shirt, you’re helping us continue to send our Nomads across the U.S. and Canada to activate support for the North Korean people.
The shirt was designed by Tori Ero (pictured above), who said, “Here on the media team, we’re always jealous of the experience the Nomads have on the road. They bring back such incredible stories of the people they meet and the places they see. Each Nomad has a unique experience, but there is a definite commonality of community and exploration in their stories that I worked to communicate with this shirt.”
100% of your $20 purchase (aka donation) will empower the Nomads to mobilize the masses this spring.
